Fantaisies

Mixed media: Acrylic, ink, and collages of old textual archives on canvas.

Through this canvas, I wanted to capture the tumult and poetry of my own inner world. I assembled these old newspaper clippings as one might piece together fragments of a scattered memory, a raw playground where the past nourishes the present.
At the center, I placed this crowned rose, both fragile and powerful, whose open arms embrace and repel the world. Around her, a whole tribe has gathered: blue and ochre figures, suspended bodies, bursts of life and mystery that dance in shadow and light.
It is an exploration of my own fantasies, a visual cry where words fade away to give way to lines, colors, and the essence of emotion.
