The raw expression of matter and color.
The artist
Luc WunenBurger LWB
Welcome to the world of LWB, a painter who embraces Art Brut and unique explorations. Guided by instinct, LWB breaks free from conventional paths to create spontaneous and vibrant works. Through mixed media techniques (acrylics, collages of old papers and textures), his canvases capture the tumult, poetry, and whimsy of his inner world. Each piece is a visual cry, a dance between shadow and light where line and color express themselves.

La danse du roi
Acrylic, Watercolor · 8.3 × 12.2 in · 2026
$460
Watercolor and acrylic on old paper.
Dancing above the people. Ignoring the shouts, continuing the parade.
The king's dance is a visual critique of disconnected power, symbolized by a contemporary Jupiter who carries on his ballet without regard for social reality.
